Answers:
Periods can be quite irregular at the beginning. You may even skip a month. Some people become quite regular later on and some never are very regular at all. Just keep paying attention to your body. Mark it down on a calendar to keep track.
Why do people ALWAYS ask this question and ALWAYS get the same answer.
For the next 2 years they are goning to be super irregular!
You might even skip this month![or any other time]
DONT FREAk.
When you start periods, it can be irregular...Periods can normally come any where between 27-36 days after the old one. Just keep tabs of yours.and wait for it to regularize as it has just started. Don't worry. If you are stressed out...sometimes it may come early or sometimes it may be delayed.
When you first start having your period it's not unusual at all for you to have very irregular ones or skip a month or two completely. Just be sure to mark your calendar to keep a record so that if you have to see a doctor you will be able to tell when the last one came.
Welcome to womanhood
Given that you have just entered into womanhood (BTW, CONGRATS!), it can take up to a year or more before your periods become regulated. Don't sweat it right now. You might get one this month, you might not, same for next month, and the month after. Just start to keep up with symptoms, of which you may have all, some, or none, that way you can pretty much be assured your period is about to start. Keep pads in your purse and wear a pad if symptoms start, that way you will be protected against the event of an accident.
Don't worry, you are totally normal. After your first period it can take up to two years for them to become regular.
