I've tryed inserting a tampon like 3 times aready and it hurts like heck when I try to sit down when wearing 1

Question:
it hurts and i know the details about inserting it on an angle and such because my mom baught this book on it last year, but i did already get my period, and I want to go swimming. Please help!!!!

Answers:
It's probably not far enough in. You need to make sure you're relaxed and have enough room to work, it should go in fine.

Hope it works!
If your a virgin, that might be why it hurts or your putting it in wrong. Try putting a towel on the ground and inserting it. Hopefully that will help.
ok so i have the same problem!! what i did was wad up toilet paper and use it like a tampon. just dont swim for like 5 hours and not change it. it worked really well and it wasnt nearly as uncomfortable.

hope this helps
its probably not in far enough. make sure that you grab the grip part and wait until your fingers touch your body then push the little part all t he way in. get tampax pearl or playtex sport those work really well. they go in easier and if somthing hurts take it out right away dont keep it in there.
maybe the tampon is to big or you don't have it in good try playtex sport . if you are a teen maybe you should get the the ones for teens it has a plastic abapter and should'nt hurt whatever you do do not use a cardborad one those hurt the worst.
It isn't in far enough. Keep trying. it shoudln't hurt.
Tampons arent for everyone.

In high school there was a girl on my swim team that couldnt use them at all. Even after she put it in she would still leak.(mystery unknown) Oh and she wasnt a virgin.

Some girls cant use them. Unfortunately that all I can use.

Good Luck.

Go swimming next week.
