Im having very bad stomach cramps what can i do to help it?

There could be so many reasons for this, Are there any other symptoms? How long have you had them? Right now, I would say call your MD, it could be anything from appendicitis, to just plain constipation, but you don't give much detail...what works for one thing, may be bad for another. I wish I could help you, but I can't not knowing any other details. Sorry

Just drink plain water and don;t eat anything for 24 hours go to your doctor if you are worried
Got to your Doctor and ask him, it could something really bad.
motrin tablets always help me... i just took one, and already my cramps are gone..

If you know for sure it is because of your period then advil liquid gels are awesome. They work really fast. Look at the label to see how much to take. If it is something else then you should go to the ER. It could be something serious.

Me too! The only thing that works is Ibprofroun and sometimes Midol
chew on ginger root..or eat crackers, and try to keep hydrated
take a pain killer, and drink ALOT of water, it always helps...if it really bad . lay down on you stomach, and it fruits
eat bannans they really work!! and work out.
Is it due to lack of food / period / muscles?
- if lack of food, go easy drink smthg milk warm e.g. warm soyamilk, hot choco milk, porridge, soup; stay away frm chillies, hard meat, tough veges temporary.

- if due to period ~ just drink some warm beverage (like above); & rub your hands warm or put a warm hot bottle over your tummy, cover up & go sleep.

If it's muscles & the symptoms persist after 1-3days or even eXtra painful better seek a doctor a.s.a.p! Might be smthg serious body organ damaged internally!
Since I don't know what other symptoms you have you can try hot water bags and warm fluids.Let me know if it helps.
You have two choices; only because they work for me. My cramp usually last 2 days.

1) The very moment you realized it or if you know exactly when it's coming, start a 30 mins work out or longer if you want. Be sure to work out some sweat then give yourself 3 mins to cool off before taking a warm shower.

2) The very moment your period arrived, take 2 moltrin IB tablets with warm water, if the pain is still bad 4 hours later take 2 more if not then take it 6 hours later. avoid drinking or eating anything cold, stay away from sugar/sweets, especially chocolate.

Note: Make sure you eat if not you will feel very weak. Even when the cramp is over you will still feel a slight little pain. So be sure to eat.
