do doctors do this test routinely, or what. I don't understand because i have not ha a pap test since I got pregnant. During my six visit i was on my period so he didn't do anything. So y would he wanna check for cancer.

he may be wanting to check to see if you have hemorrhoids

The following link should give you more information. According to the link, colposcopy is a normal part of a Pap, which is done periodically to check for cervical cancer. Not that you have it, all women are tested.
