Can a Woman use both an IUD and the pill simultaneously for contraception?

Question:

Answers:
I guess you could, but I don't know why you would want to. And, long term I don't see it being healthy, cost eeffective, or even if a doctor would allow it.
The pill is upwards of 97% effective, and IUD 99.9% effective.
Do you really believe 2 forms of birth control would cover that fraction of a percentage?
Decide which Birth control is going to have the greatest benefits and go with that one. Discuss your options with your doctor and do your research.
Yes, but it seems like overkill unless there is some other reason you want to be on the pill.
