When is "safe sex" ?

Question:
when from the last day of menstruation is considered to be a safe period for sex?

Answers:
Typically, on an average 28 day cycle, you will ovulate on about the 14th day of your cycle (your cycle begins the first day you have your period, and ends the day before you get your next period). Sperm can be stored in the body for up to seven days, so the fertile period is considered anywhere from day 5 to day 15. However, different women ovulate at different times, and some women even ovulate when they are menstruating. Unless you've very carefully charted out your ovulation cycle with the help of a doctor, don't even consider using this information as your sole form of birth control, you ALWAYS need to use a condom.
there is no sch thing as safe sex even wehn your on the pill and have a condom
its supposed to be after your period has completely stopped. Um, just so this isn't on my conciunce (sp?) if u get pregnant, there is no 100% gaurentee of safe sex. have your husband or boyfriend wear a condom.
you can get pregnant even if you just had a period. nothing is 100% safe. not even birth control. don't rely on when your period ends and say that's an "okay" time. talk to your doctor.
never.....
you can get pregnant on any day during the week that ends w/ a y... regardless of what day you are on on your cycle
6 days before you ovulate and 24 hours after is when you can get pregnant. figuring out exactly when you ovulate is the hard part.
