Question:
have u had any complications with it? Did anyone lose the string then find it? If so what method did they use to find it? mine is missing in action. i have no idea what to do? i have no insurance and my doc couldnt find it! help what can i do?
Answers:
I have Mirena and am always able to find my strings. To start with make sure to use another form of birth control because it may have fallen out. You will need to have the Dr do a vaginal ultrasound to see if it is still in place or not. I don't have insurance either but I would rather pay for an ultra sound then a baby!
Mine wasn't Mirena 20+ yrs ago, but mine was lost... they did an ultrasound to find it and pull it out. After that I never used an IUD every again.
