Here's a little piece of an article I read I hope this helps. Just so you know I was about 14 no boobs and no period so it is normal your just more of a late bloomer as some will say. Hang in there it will happen soon enough! Good luck to you!
No one can say exactly when you'll get your first menstrual period, but you will get it some time during puberty. Puberty is the time in your life when you begin to become an adult. This means a lot of growing and changing - both inside and out. Some girls start puberty at age 8, and others may start as late as age 14. Each person goes at her own pace. So don't think you're weird if you start puberty a little earlier or a little later than your friends.
At the beginning of puberty, you'll notice that your breasts are developing and you're starting to grow a little hair under your arms and "down there" on your genitals (this is called pubic hair).
For most girls, their first menstrual period, or menarche (say: men-ar-kee), begins about 1 1/2 to 2 years after their breast development and new hair growth first happens. However, for some girls, this may take only 6 months, and for others it may take longer - up to 3 years. A good sign you're getting close to the time when your first period will arrive is if you notice a thick, white mucus discharge coming from your vagina. Usually, this happens about 6 months before you get your first period.
theres nothing wrong with u, i actually didnt start mine until i was 15 ..everybodys body is different
its fine. if u dont get it by the time your 15 tho, u should tlk to your doctor. the age u get it at depends. i kno someone who got it just before ther 12th bday, and a 14 yearold that doesnt have it yt
its totally fine! anywhere between 9 and 16 is considered normal. if you are really worried, talk to your pediatrician.
I didn't start until I was 17 because I was incredibly active! I ran track and was a cheerleader. I was super lean. It is completely normal if you are active! If not, you still aren't so late...maybe just a late bloomer. But, if you want to calm your nerves, just talk to your doctor about it!
While I would encourage you to ask a doctor about this, may I ask whether you weigh less than 110 pounds? Often, girls who are slight have a delayed onset.
everyones body is different. if u hav started puberty, than it is probably coming soon. dont judge yourself over others.. it doesnt matter u havent had ur period yet
Yes that's ok maybe you a late devolve-per but if you find it gets to late maybe you could go for a checkup about it at you local doctors if you are getting a discharge that's a good sing it mean you should start soon !! xx
Menstratuion usualy begins(called menarche)anytime between 9 and 16 years of age, about two years after the onset of puberty. On average, the first menses(period) occurs just before 13.
If you are really active or underweight, it will take a lot longer. But 14 is definitely too early to be worried.
Enjoy your last moments without it... you will soon HATE it.
Of COURSE it's ok! Everyone's body is different. I know girls who didn't start till they were 18 ... don't you worry, you have the rest of your life to have them. Enjoy the extra years you get off!! :)
your totally fine! Everyone starts at different ages. Anywhere from 8-16. Ask your mom when she started, you usually get it around the time your mom did.
i started when i was 8 so who knows check with your doc if you have1
Yes you are normal.. Most girls don't get there period till about 14. You are probably just a late bloomer. It will come. The range of age to get your period is between 11-14...and in special occasions some girls get it later some sooner. just depends on the person... don't worry about trust me be happy you don't have you period yet.
you are completely normal. some girls don't get their periods until they are fifteen, and some girls get their period when they are thirteen and don't have another one until a year later. enjoy not having your period, i'm jealous of my friends that don't have them.
Honey, be thankful you haven't started yet. Believe me.. every woman curses the day they start their period cuz then you are stuck with it for 30 or 40 years until menopause. I started my period at 9 years old!! I am 24 now. go ahead and add up those years and think about how long I have to go until menopause.
