UTI and AZO?
Question:
I've found some information on here that AZO won't cure the UTI, so I understand that fact. What I want to know is if I'll have to go back on the same antibiotics as I did last time? Those pills made me really sick and were horrible on my entire body.
I'm taking AZO right now to relieve the freqent urges until tomorrow (going into the doctor now that I know for sure that AZO isn't a cure).
Answers:
There are tons of antibiotics that can treat a UTI (and I've probably taken most of them). Just tell your doctor you didn't like the one you were on last time and he'll prescribe you something else. Anytime you're on antibiotics and they're making you feel really sick you should call your doctor for a different prescription. Antibiotics should make you feel better, not worse.
tell your doctor that the medication he/she gave you last time made you sick, there is probably another antibiotic that they can give you that will treat your infection just as effectively without making you sick.
It just depends on what the doctor gives you. I have found that if you drink those little Dan Active things that it makes my stomach feel better after taking an antibiotic. You have to do what you have to do though.
