i lost a lot of weight during the summer last year i went form like 130 to 95 n i lost my period. now im a normal weight but tis till gone. will it come back??

Answers:
okay, well I hope you know that your body is sending you a VERY clear message. Do you know why your periods stopped?

Because your body is freaked out by what is happening.

When your body is no longer freaked out and is getting what it NEEDS you will begin to function normally and you will have your periods again.naturally.
You should start getting it again a few months after you have the baby.
It should.
You might have to wait for your body to readjust that you're at a good weight again.
You have to give eat time and eat healthy meals too. It won't just come back right away.
if you love something set it free... if it was ment to be it will come back on its own.
eat a Lott of peaches and drink responsively
talk to a doctor
im sure it will
no never! maybe your pregnant
Yes, once you start getting that baby fat again.
you can have nmine been onit 14 days, lol you will its the weight loss,
um wow u should see a doctor like asap!
Enjoy this haitus while you can...
Yes, it will come back. Your body underwent a big physical change and your body needs to re-program itself, including your period. It will soon get itself all caught up again and back on its own schedule. It just doesn't want to come because your body is undergoing a huge change, and it will only come when your body is at a stable enough condition. That's why most women don't get their period when they are incredibly stressed out. The body is too stressed and undergoing so many things, that a period included would be somewhat unhealthy. Don't worry and congrats on the weight loss!
Honey! Be glad its gone - you don't want that back : But if you need real answers go and talk to your parents or a doctor.
your body has to be close to 100 pounds in order to handle the situation... Why would you want it back? wish I was you
Women need a certain amount of fat on them to be able to have periods. We actually NEED a certain amount of cholesterol to make things work.
Consider eating a couple of eggs for breakfast, cooked with butter... but DON'T put any bread with it. You need that fat and protein, but adding carbs to that will make you gain weight.
It should. Dont worry, the same thing happened to me. But, it turned out i was preg. anyways, dont worry. you will be fine. Good Luck!! ;)
i rarely have a period now because of my birth control. if your on the pill switch to the patch. it useually works differntly.

if not, eat healthy foods.
if that doesn't work, and your body is healthy, enjoy not having a period while you have it
I lost mine too, and never got it back. But it was a different situation. I was very regaular, and my doctor put me on a combination of medications and warned me that it would screw up my period. I was 44, and he put me on cytotec and MS Contin. A year later he took me off the cytotec, and my period never came back! I'm now 53, and in the process of trying to find out if I've sailed through menopause. I think yours will come back. Good luck! :)
Yes you can most likely get it back. My friend lost a lot of weight too and had not had a period in 2 years. I told her to go the doctor. After the doctor examined her to determine everything was ok he put her on a drug to kick start her period. About 5 days of taking the drug she started. She now takes the pill every month and has a period each month.

When your body goes through so much change it may not on its own regulate all the hormones correctly. Sometimes you need a drug to kick start it. I hope that helps.
Get some iron and take it with vitamin C. At a later time of day take some calcium. (Calcium blocks absorption of iron.)
I'm not telling you you're too skinny, but it is more than likely because of your weight.

I was watching a program about body building, and it was talking about a woman who trained her body very hard before competitions. She only had 1% (or so) body fat on her when she competed. Her doctor told her that a woman needs AT LEAST 10-12% body fat in order to have a menstrual cycle.

Here is some info from the website located in the Sourse list:

"Weight also influences hormonal balance and menstruation. If a woman is underweight, her hormones will stop working properly and her periods might stop altogether.

Regular exercise and keeping fit and healthy can help regulate the menstrual cycle. On the other hand, exercising too much and overstressing the body can have a negative effect on the hormones to the extent that menstruation may cease."

I would suggest putting on more weight. You don't have to if you're honestly not comfortable with it (I don't see why you wouldn't be, I'm sure you look beautiful at 130 lbs :) ), but being underweight could also affect the chances that you will concieve.

I'm sorry dear, but 95 pounds is not a "normal weight" :(
a) 95 lbs is not a normal weight, and if you actually researched normal weight it actually comes out to like about 115-130 but it also depends on your height and unless you are about 4ft 9in then you need to gain more weight. you lose your menstral cycle when you lose an extreme amount of weight and when you gain an insane amount of weight. and OBGYN's will not give you birth control to help with the cycle, because of the your weight.

and plus the "normal" weight that you were talking about is lacking muscle and tone, so i guess it is the difference between a Nicole Richie and a Fergie. most people that are looking for a relationship, look for people that are not going to break if you look at them...up to you.
why on earth would you want it back? just make sure you're not pregnant and dont worry about it. enjoy the vacation!
yes it will come.
but u should eat some special foods to make your body heat and to get period.
may u can eat more amount of papaya.
