Answers:
Hey hon.

I would really recommend going to see your doctor and getting a check over... I am 17 and my doctor refuses to put me on the pill because I am not sexually active, so she has put me on some other tablets to help with the flow and cramps.

I would go have a chat to her... It probably isn't good to have really heavy periods over a really long time because I know when I have heavy periods, I get really sick because of low iron levels from losing blood...

Please go and see your doctor and with sleeping with your period, put a couple of towels over your sheets - that's what I do when I am really heavy and I don't stress as much. :)

Good luck hon.
make an appointment to see your Gynecologist, you may have fibroids.
Ok, so you have a problem for which medical science has developed a cure for, and you come asking us for advice on what to do, except don't tell me to do the one thing that actually works!

This is one of the reasons they have birth control, is to help women. If it's your parents who are against it, maybe having them discuss things with your doctor could help. Plenty of young women take it, and it doesn't make them have sex any sooner than they would have without it.
