Since you are still a virgin, I recommend strongly that you be seen by a gynecologist ASAP. You could have an ovarian cyst or even a tumor that is mimicking the symptoms of pregnancy ( some cysts and tumors produce the hormones of pregnancy, causing the symptoms). Also, sometimes the egg will mutate without being fertilized, making the body think that it is pregnant. I am not trying to scare you, but you should definately be seen by a doctor. There is a question that I must ask. When you say that you are a virgin, do you mean that you haven't had actual penetration, but have participated in "heavy petting" or "dry humping"? There have been cases where a girl has gotten pregnant without penetration, because the boy ejaculated or had pre-ejaculate in the general area of the girl's genitals, or touched or "fingered" her after touching himself. Not to be gross, but sperm cells are persistent little devils, and will try to impregnate an egg if they are introduced by any means into a girl's vagina. It only takes one sperm to make it to the finish line to get a girl pregnant. If this is not the case, my apologies. Just to warn you, be prepared for some disbelief from the people at the doctor's office about your virginal status. A large percentage of teenager's who get pregnant claim that they are not sexually active, leading a lot of medical professionals to take that claim with a grain of salt. I am only telling you this so that you can prepare yourself. Be honest with the doctor, and stick to your guns. But most of all, go to the doctor and be checked to be sure that it is not something serious that is causing your symptoms. Good luck.
okay, so im not doctor, but i do know that different causes (ie. stress, eating habits, changes in weight) can cause a lot of hormonal changes. although what you describe are rare side effects, it is not unheard of for this to happen. it is very possible that your body is experiencing changes in hormone variations, causing it to react in a way that it would if you were pregnant. normally, there is no danger in hormone variations. however, if you still havent had your period within another month, you may want to consolt your doctor. because if hormones are the cause (you dr. can verify that through blood test) then there are medications that will help your body regulate itself. i hope this was helpful.peace, lexi
