The hymen is a thin membrane partially covering or surrounding the vagina. I broke mine cheerleading. No, it doesn't make you looser. Furthermore, no man can tell if you've never had sex or have done it many times. The vagina is elastic, stretches, and goes back to normal. The only thing that affects vaginal elasticity is having a baby, and later on menopause.

You need to go to the gyno. Rule of thumb is first sexual activity or age 18, whichever comes first. The dr will check for breast lumps and make slides of vaginal swabs to check for cervical cancer, as well as discuss birth control, STDs, etc. It's about your reproductive health as well and sexual health!
If you have never been to the gynecologist then how do you know your hymen is broken?
I'm pretty sure that the hymen has nothing to do with the actual size of your vagina.
Going to the gynecologist would be a good idea in general, even if you're not sexually active. My doctor said that it's a good idea for girls to start going when they're around 17 or 18, so I went a little after I turned 18. You tell your gyno about your concerns and he or she should be able to help you. :)
u should go to a gynecologist 4 a check up. all girls r should when they're 19
go ahead and get it checked just to be safe but thats only my opinion
You are age 19 and have never looked down there? That is so fantastical that it has to be untrue.
there is no such thing as a hymen, it is just a myth that men created a long time ago so there wives wouldn't cheat on them. but if you don't believe me just go see your doctor.
