Is it dangerous and is there risks - not giving a break for your period when on the pill?

Question:
sometimes i just take packet after packet without a break for my period, is this bad??

Answers:
I've done it and was told once by my doctor that there's no harm in it for a 2/3 month period but no longer than that.
Just to be safe, you should take a break after about three months. This way your body can regulate it's self and get back on course. Wait a month or two and then go back to not taking a break for another three months.

It's not that dangerous, but it can throw your body out of whack and one day when you'll want a baby, it'll end up being harder because your body won't know when to ovulate.
If you do it because you don't want a period or because your timing is bad when you don't take them everyday, look into the jab. I've had it for a few years now because I couldn't take the pill, and it's the best decision I've made in a long time.

Otherwise, it's not dangerous for a little while, and if you're going to a country where the sanitation isn't so good it's actually a good idea to stop your periods this way, but it's not good to keep doing it.
Yes, it's bad. You are actually preventing the body from doing what comes naturally so it can't be good for you.
yup can cause probs later on, dont do it only if necessay like going on holiday and want to swim and not ruin it etc. once in while is ok but not all time, can cause stuff dangerous if u make habit, risk of stufff...dont wanna say it.
yes it is because thats not natural thing
hey, doing this is fine as long as you take a break after every 3 packs. my doctor recommended doing this and i have done it for years with no problems. However it may be different depending on the type of pill you are taking so i would check with your doctor just to make sure! hope this helps!
