HELP! for gyno's only. question.?

Like your doctor said, take it the Sunday after your period. Even if you still have your period, you still take it. You want to start them as close to your period as possible so that near the end of the pack is when you'll get it and you will be on the placebos. Also, for the first couple of weeks [1-4] when you start the pill, you need to use a back-up method because your body needs to get used to the pill.
If taken correctly [and at the same time every day] you shouldn't have any problems with it. If you do, go back to your ob-gyn right away and get a prescription for a new pill. It may take a while to figure out which pill is right for you.
The best thing, sweetheart, is to call your doctor's office and ask them these questions. Anything else would be risky to your health regarding side effects from the medication or an unwanted-at-this-time pregnancy. Don't risk it. Just call them. They will understand.
Good luck!
Call your doctor sweetheart. They WILL understand!
Do what your Dr. told you too. Why did you follow your sister's directions? Is she a health care provider?
