How to I avoid going to the doctor?

I know nothing's wrong... But my mom doesn't agree. She's like "You're going to the doctor. NOW." And I really don't want to. And she said it's a manly doctor. Ok, I'm not scared of guys or anything. But a manly doctor? Hello... Does she not get that I don't want some perv-y antediluvian guy touching me?

Answers:    In many states (I know Massachusetts does this) teens can product appointments with a doctor of their choice. If the doc your mom requirements to send you to is surrounded by a large condition center or clinic, you may be able to simply phone the clinic and say you'd similar to a female practitioner.

Making the first move will show your mom that you're responsible satisfactory to make your own robustness care decision, and that you don't mind seeing a doctor, but you want to choose which one.

As a LAST DITCH EFFORT, you have the right to turn down any exam/procedure you want when you're at the doctor's office. Hopefully, you and your mom can come to an agreement, and it won't draw from to that point.

Good luck!
I completely understand. I have a male doctor for a while as all right until I was around 12 years of age. But after that, more things start to transpire to you, so a female doctor is best when it comes to women. If your mother is that worried in the region of you, believe me, you should go and see that doctor.
