Good time to stop using birth control?

me and my girlfriend want to stop usin birth control. when is is a good time to like can you just stop whenever or should you wait till her period

May I assume you're talking about the pill? If yes, then she should wait till the end of the pack...finish out the 3 weeks of hormones and then just don't start a new pack.

Be VERY aware that fertility often returns QUICKLY once the hormones stop, so alternate contraceptive protection is a MUST is pregnancy is not desired. And even if you are TTC, you should use alternative contraception for 3-4 months so that her body can regulate on her own and the doctors can get a more accurate due date.
I'm not sure but I'd wait till she has her period so you don't totally mess up her cycle.
For pills- finish out a pack. Are you sure you want to stop?
