How do you tell your mom when you have your first period?

lol it seems easy but its not when i got mine i was like omg what do i do i told my friends then my mom came last lol i was liek always going to the bathroom becuz i didnt want to but the pads and tampons so i was always in there checking then my mom thought i was like doing things that i dont want to repeat and then she was like why do u keep going to the bathroom and i was like. really quiet then she was like well? why? then i was like uhh... and she was getting mad so i was like ok ok i got my visit then she's like OMG MY BABYUS A WOMAN im like omg please shut up so yea this went on for about 2 days till she caught me lol so ya if u have to dont tell her you dont really need to if u dont want to its your choice
simply say, "i had my first period"
just go to her and be like 'mom, im growing up now' or 'mom, im a woman now' or 'i've hit puberty, mom'.
or theres the other option of simply telling her this:
'mom, i got my first period.'

When I told my mom, I actually was getting ready to go to a physical. Knowing that I wouldn't have to go if I had my period, I told her. Haha.
Either way, it's best to tell your mom straight up, especially if you have no way of getting to a store to buy pads or tampons. This way she can pick some up for you.
You can try casually asking her if she can pick you up a pack of pads when she's on her way to the store. Or [if she isn't the type to freak out and stuff] when you're at the store with her, casually throw a pack into the cart. Hopefully she won't say anything in front of people there.

Do it like I did. Walk up to her and go "Hey mom, I got my period." But do it very nonchalontly, like you just sort of noticed that it occured in passing.
It's not a big deal, but I can promise you that your mom will make a big fuss over the matter.
