Should my period be regular after almost a year on Mirena i.u.d?


Question:
I had my son in july of 06 and got the iud placed in august. when i went for my string check my doc couldnt find it. she did xray and saw it but wasnt sure it was in uterus so she did ultrasound and saw somethimg but wasnt really sure. my period has been heavier than usual but not alot and it was regular but now ive gotten a yeast infection and ive never had one and ive had my period twice in 3 weeks for 5-7 days the first time. a i going to die or what. is the iud floating around somewhere it shoudnt and now its infected? anyone going thru this or at least have mirena iud. hellp please i have no insurance!!!

At least go to Planned Parenthood and get checked out.
