Girlfriend off pill...erratic period...negative pregnancy test?

Question:
Hello. My girlfriend recently went off the pill after being on it for about 7 years. She had a period around 3 weeks after finishing her last cycle of pills. Since then it has been around 2 months and she has not had a period. We have unprotected sex from time to time, however I am extremely careful to "pull out." I thought that she could possibly be pregnant, however we have taken 4 different pregnancy tests (2 different brands) and they have all come back negative. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Answers:
Her body might be having some reactionary post-withdrawal problems with regard to the loss of the hormones.

And speaking of withdrawal, do NOT rely upon this method as a means of birth control. Withdrawal is only about 60% effective. This translates to 40 pregnancies per year per 100 people using this method. If you don't want to be a daddy, then put a raincoat on Willie when he goes out to play. Please.
There is always a possibility she could be pregnant when you have sex; But it seems fine and I think you will be ok but be careful next time. Best thing is to go to your doctor. Good luck.
FYI- The pull out method is not an effective way of birth control.
