Yes it is normal it hardens up becuz it has beenin ur ndies 4 some time wear a panty shield to make washing easier and also asa preventitive measure to protect ur vagina from bacteria etc.Here is a bit of info I took froma previous best answer of mines.The clearish stuff is called mucus it helps to clean the walls of ur vagina .Almost all teens n women have vaginal discharge.It may be white, yellow, clear, stretchy, or sticky. It may be there on some days and not on others, some women see it daily. Usually Normal discharge looks a bit like egg white - a clear or off-white sticky goo. When it dries normal discharge can turn a light-yellow color, so it’s normal to find a yellowy stain in your panties.
Also It also acts as a lubricant during sexual intercourse.Before or after ur period persons have an increase in this discharge depending on your family background and diet and you as an individual one gets either a high or low discharge. I have a high discharge. Its okay just drink water so tht is diluted there will not be any or a small amount
