No! Don't tell him, lol... My dad is really skiddish about stuff like that. The first time I bough stuff like that around him was like this...
we were at walmart... I said "Dad, can I have 10 bucks for some stuff?" He said what stuff... I said "girl stuff" He said ok meet me at the front of the store in 15 minutes. I bought the stuff without him and we met at the front of the store and left.
When in the car he said... "girl stuff...I don't wanna talk about stuff like that, ok?" I said "OK!"
Lol... my dad loves me to bits but he gets really uncomfortable about stuff like that!
Just say, "dad, can you please take me to the pharmacy so that I can buy some womens personal hygiene products?"
youre 14. of course your going to have your period by now. hes not stupid. he knows that around this age your going to get your cycles and blah blah blah. if he hast talked to you about it that doesnt mean he doesnt know. it just means that he's embarassed. go to him and be like 'dad, i need you to take me to the store to get some personal things.' or 'i need supplies. can you take me to the store?' lol. he'll understand.
or when you guys are out shopping or whatever and you pass a store that you know has them, tell him that you need to go in there realy quick and you wont be long. you just need to get something that you really need. if he asks you what, just say stuff. if he still wants to know, tell him personal stuff.
your last option is giving your money to a friend you trust and tell her to get some for you.

Just talk to him and he will take you to the store to buy them. He knows all girls go through puberty and have a period.
You're 14. Of COURSE you have your period by now. Tell him you need to go to the store to get some feminine products. If he doesn't get it, write him a not saying you need him to pick up tampons and the brand. ;o)

Actually, I'm sure your dad is not as ignorant of your cycles as you'd like to believe. He's just discretionary in his discussions of them.
If you need sanitary products then you're just going to have to tell him, "Dad, I've got to get some pads for my next period, so I'll need some money." Then you go to the store and you buy what you need...he doesn't need to know you use tampons, however again, I doubt he's as ignorant of this as you'd like to think.
just tell him there is nothing wrong with letting him know this its a natural thing just ask him to give you money for them and take u for them

Sweetie...he figures by now that you do have it...he knows that every female gets it and although you both may be a little embarrassed in the being.he will help get what you need.this is just the first step in many questions that you have to ask him that may make one or both of you uncomfortable..don't be afraid...just tell him what you need.if you guys can afford it.buy in bulk so you don't have to ask that often, he may like that idea too.
Just tell him that he needs to take you to the store for some personal hygiene products. If he ask why then just tell him that it is "that time of the month".
Just be calm and ask "Dad can you give me a lift to the tore so I can pick up some female products?" He will understand if he's ever lived with sisters or lady roommates and not inquire further in case youre embarrassed.
wow. thats pretty bad. hahah...umm...maybe you should tell him. or maybe he already knows by now. maybe he saw garbage or is just guessing. i would say..."Dad can you take me to the store? I need to get some things." if he asks what tell him or say like..."Shaving cream and a razor." if that doesnt work, tell him to drop you off at the store. or ask a friend to get them for you!

you're just gonna have to tell him...it's not like he can get mad at you for it!! my experience with my dad, was that he just felt bad because he had no idea what i was going through to lend any kind of advice or support...just act nonchalant about it.."hey dad, would you mind bringing me to the store?" and if he asks what for, just tell him.."i need some feminine supplies."
my poor dad found me writhing on the bathroom floor with really bad cramps and he made it through ok, haha
Are you going to make him go to the store and buy them?? Oh funny. Trust me, he's going to be more embarrased by the situation than you. If that's the case you'll have to spell it out. If you can go in- Just tell him that you need to go to the store for some feminine things- you really don't have to say more. If he asks- just say "you know". Do you have a friend who could pick some up for you?
he will understand hon,,, all men do. just tell him that you need a little bit of money for your girly things,,,,he will say what?,, and then he will sau oh, oh, ok. this is what i did with my dad.never had a problem.
Just say "Um dad, I'm going through puberty, so I need to go to the store to buy some personal items". He'll understand.
Or just ask someone to buy them for you and pay them back,

Your dad may not know that you have your period - he could think that girls don't start at 14 or maybe be in denial...either way this is what I would do if you are nervous about being very bold and upfront with him... I would say it while I'm at the store, "Dad, I need to get some feminine products or womanly things." He'll get a confused look on his face and then say "ok" and he'll drop it from there. I'm 22 and I still get a little nervous from time to time when I have to get my "feminine products."
