Question:
I had surgery two months ago and I didn't tell my kids. And today they still don't know what type of surgery I had. Yesterday I found out that my kids told my mom whom was not suppose to know about any surgery that I actually had surgery. She asked them what type of surgery and they told her that I had a "recovery surgery" because they didn't know. My mom came to her own conclusion even though I haven't seen her really much and she told my other sister that she knew I had breast surgery. However, she hasn't mentioned to me that she knows. Should I say anything to my mom regarding the surgery or should I just lie low and pretend that it didn't happen? Now I never lied to her about it, I just didn't tell her.
Answers:
Moms do always seem to know.
I wouldn't say anything unless she brings it up.
It's your body and your business, you had every right not to mention it to her.
if it was me, i wouldn't say anything. if she knows she knows, and moms always do. nothing really needs to be said.
