Bleeding.?

Question:
I have been bleeding (on my period) for 5 weeks...
I have irregular periods (about every two months I get it) anyway but they have never lasted this long.
what would be a logical reason for this?

Answers:
This bleeding you are having is called breakthrough bleeding which can act a lot like a period (I've had a lot of experience with this kind of bleeding). It can be an indicator of a hormone imbalance.

I would recommend seeing your docto for further evaluation to see what they think is going on.
i know that this isn't the answer that your looking for, but you need to be checked by your doctor. persistent bleeding can lead to anemia and more seriously hypoperfusion (severe blood loss).

whats causing this? i don't know. there are many possibilities that cause bleeding from that region. the important thing is that you get it taken care of!
go to the doctor. it could be cysts, etc.
