It is different for everyone but, normally I would say the 5th month.
I didn't feel the first baby until around 4-5 months. I could feel the second one moving as early as 3 months. I wouldn't call it "kicking", but definitely moving.
They say that the first kick is the half way point--20 weeks.
about 6 months when the little one has formed completly and wants to move and strecthed
for a first one it's after 4 months or so. with subsequent children a woman is more sure about what she's feeling and may notice it sooner.
Kick or move?
I felt my son 'move' at 3 1/2 months. The nurse didn't believe me. When the nurse did the heartbeat check that day, as soon as the heartbeat was picked up - he 'moved' away and I told her, 'That's what I felt'. She was surprised.
My son started kicking me around 5 months. He was very active and I was constantly kicked or poked by him. He is 2.5 now and still kicks and pokes me:)
