Worried... My period is late (months) again!?

Question:
I haven't had my period since like March. It's now 1st of Aug.! I've had similar experience with this various times before when I skipped 3-4 months then had heavy "flows" for 5-6 days. I know anxiety and stress can cause this, and I have been through quite some since my car got broken into in march, trip out of the country in late april, HORRIBLE car accident in may, family illness in june, bad break-up in July... Does anyone know anything I can take or do to get my period again? I know the stress isn't helping, but if I got my period, my life would be less stressful (believe it, or not.)

Answers:
I would talk to your GYN about this. It may not just be stress. With your periods being that heavy I would begin to wonder if you had PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) or Endometriosis. Do you have severe cramping to go with it? Have you had sudden weight gain? Facial hair? Skin tags? This is all stuff you need to discuss with your doctor. Good luck I hope this helped.
there may be something wrong. go to the gyno you may have a cyst up there and they could put you on birth control to regulate your period. good luck girl!
Talk to your doctor about it. I'm sure it is the stress, but I am also sure they'll want to do a full exam just so they themselves can be sure. They'll probably recommend putting you on birth control pills to regulate your period and make sure you get one every month.

Hope this helps. Good Luck. :-)
i think you need to see a doc (or a gyn asap).
You need to see a Doctor (GYN ) and get a checkup to make sure everything is ok, if it is all ok, he will probably put you on birth control pills to get you menses checked. They will go from ther to see how things are working out.
