Doctors, moms, girls?
Question:
doctors, do you prefer it?
Answers:
Don't shave just to be "clean" for the doctor.
The hair makes no difference, as you are opened with a thing stuck up you.
They see everything from bald to forest, so I wouldn't worry about anything.
Plus, having hair there is the natural state of things. I don't see why women shave there. It helps keep bacteria out of your vagina, so it is actually CLEANER than most people think. And, as for people who think it smells bad to have hair there... if you shower every day, you don't smell with or without hair.
It really doesn't matter. Gynecologists have seen it all, unshaved, shaved, pierced.. you name it, I'm sure they've seen it. Just do whatever makes you more comfortable. As long as you are practicing good hygiene and making sure you are clean down there the doctor isn't going to care one way or the other.
Doctors could care less because they have seen it all. It is really your personal preference. If you already shave then you may want to. My doctor actually suggested laser hair removal if I am going to shave because it avoids in grown hairs.
no not normally.
I shave because I think that it is easier for them. My friend is a OBYN helper and she said sometimes they have to shave people cause it is so hard to do there thing.
Doctors do NOT care if you have hair or not. Do NOT shave just because the doctors will give a hoot...they won't...I PROMISE.
You have NO IDEA about the 'condition' patients have come into clinics with. Please make sure you have washed prior to your appointment. If your hair is long enough to braid, trim it down, so we can see where we're going. Otherwise, we really appreciate when patient's are not funky!!
It doesnt matter. I had a pelvic exam today and it was fine. I dont shave. I do keep it neat and trimmed though. But it doesnt matter what it looks like down there as long as you are clean.
