Answers:
Hi! It sounds like you've had a big hormone surge (normal at your age), and it's messed around with your cycle a little bit.
It's totally normal for our cycles to change and adjust themselves as we get older, and there's a big difference in you body, and your hormone levels between 10 and 13.
I wouldn't say you have anything to worry about, do you have any more pain than normal, or is the bleeding a lot heavier? If so, that's worth getting checked out, but otherwise I'd say you're fine.
You could go and see your GP if you're worried, but it sounds pretty normal, a similar thing happened to me.
Good luck, I hope this helps!
Young teens often have irregular periods. This is not abnormal. As you get older and your hormones regulate you should get on a more even cycle. Make sure you are prepared by taking pads or tampons to school with you since you don't know when you might need them. You should talk to your mom so you can get to the doctor for an evaluation. This is never a bad idea~!
