Shaving.?

Question:
Is there any techniques or good ways to shave down there (not completly) without/ or helping to reduce bumps, itching, and redness?

Answers:
Exfoliation is your best best. When in the shower use one of those puff balls / scrub things and just rub it a bit down there which gets rid of the dead skin (hich cause the red bumps and ingrown hairs). You could also use an exfoliating shaving gel such as 'King of Shaves' which have little balls in to help exfoliate also. Rub it in and than i suggest shaving with the grain of hair which usually means shaving downwards so the razor isn't in such a harsh position against the skin. Also once or twice a week it may help to put a very simple moisturizer on the area.

This is what i did as i had loads of red spots, itching etc and now i don't get ANY of that, yey!
Use soap or cream, shave with the grain.
Trim it with scissors first. Then shave the rest off.
can i help?
I don't have issues with bumps or redness usually. Slather on a ton of shaving cream, and when you get out try an aftershave.
Waxing is the only way to go. It is cleaner and you will get use to it as you do it more'
Short quick strokes are the best. Make sure not to cut yourself, that adds to red bumps and little cuts that can get infected and make sure to shave after you've been in the shower a while so the skin is moist and not too raw...I hope this helped!
In my experience I use a dry shaver for women and use aftershave lotion from skintimate on there ....no bumps!
my girlfriend uses a Cleo shaver/clipper she bought at the drug store...she clips it real close, and has no bumps, etc.
My girlfriend uses Veet.
try hair removeal cream x
dont shave, wax its much better and takes far far longer to grow back
Use Nair, the type of shaving cream where you apply it on your legs, arms, etc. to get rid of hair. After you wash off cream you will not see any hairs.
Waxing or electrolysis is best.
yeah trim the hair, then shave where it's NOT against the grain of hair, you'll probably get ingrown hair and red bumps.

fyi, if you do this then you are more prone to infections AND it's very very itchy.
use conditioner instead of shaving cream
trim first and use shaving cream. and take your time or youll cut yourself. waxing is probably the best way to reduce red bumps though.
Whenever I shave down there, it is usually smooth for one day, then it starts getting itchy red bumps once the hair starts growing again.. I usually try to keep it dry down there by using an unscented baby powder (scented could irritate it more if your skin is too sensitive) because baby powder seems to keep it from getting too itchy.
If you find your getting bumps you need to use a fresh razor for that area only and use it there only three times as the hair is thick and can put nicks in the razor. Also before shaving there exfoliate the skin gently to make sure that all the dead skin cells are removed you will get a better shave that way as well. And when your finished use Witch hazel, you can buy it any drug store, it takes down inflamation, is soothing and will cleanse the area. Then finally use a body cream like Vaseline with glycolic acid in it it also will help to keep the area bump free. When summer is over let it grow out and find someone that does sugaring and get your bikini area sugared, the reason I recomend sugaring is there is no double dipping like some waxes and if you change your mind or get scared it can be washed off. If you do this all winter by spring you'll only need to be sugared every 4-6 weeks and really ends up cheaper than buying razors all the time. And it will grow in softer no more bristles or rashes. Just something to think about.
the best way to get rid of hair down there is to wax it off or use a hair removal cream.
take a hot shower with steam, apply shaving cream leave it on there for at least 5 minutes, shave with the grain and try not to go over the same area with the razor more than once. Wash with a facial astringent or witch hazel, and then pat dry, then apply some moisturizing lotion.works for me.
u should wax its better
