Is it true that being in the sun will effect a womans period?

Question:
My wife said this, and I am wondering it it is true in any way what so ever. I want womens opinions and also if anyone has any proven medical fact.

Answers:
I just did a quick google research and found this:
http://www.sun-wellness.com/articles/111...
It states that sunlight can lessen the effects of PMS. But I doubt it.
I don't believe it's a medically proven fact and I wouldn't take the word of some random site.
well its true that a women's period attracts bears
I'm not sure about the sun, but I know the moon has an effect on a womens menstral cycle.
