I just began taking Yaz for the first time ever...was i supposed to chew or swallow? i swallowed. i hope i was supposed to! and also, is it okay if i took it on an empty stomach?? and can I eat something in like 10 minutes and will it still be effective?

Yes, you're supposed to swallow the pills whole. You can take it on an empty stomach or with food if it upsets your stomach. Yes it was fine to swallow, do not chew, and take at the same time every day. And you can eat when ever you want. If you feel nausea's after you took it on an empty stomach, i would then take it with food next time.
