I'm not having a period. What does this mean?

Question:
I am not pregnant for starters, nor do I have any symptoms of pregnancy. I have been off of birth control for over a year now and for a while I was having my period every 47 days (give or take) then all of the sudden it took 6 months to get my period. I am now on day 72 of this cycle and still waiting. The only thing that I can say is even the least bit abnormal is that I have gained about 15 pounds over the course of a year and sometimes (very seldom) I feel like my uterus is radiating heat from the inside.

Answers:
You might have a tumor or a cyst of some type on your ovary causing you to not get your period. I definitely recommend you going to see your GYN to get checked out..its probably nothing. are you stressed? that could do it too.
What does your OB/GYN say? Are you on any other type of birth control?

You should probably see an OB/GYN and be tested. It could be some type of hormonal malfunction.
