Question:
I have never used a tampon before and have no idea how to use it and i dnt want to use it
I have told my mum and she said there is not she can do...plz help me

get some tampax the small ones but if you do i mite feel abit strange for a bit untill you get used to it. but DONT please DONT go swimming with a pad in as if you do it will absorbe the water and when you get out the water you will see it and you will look and feel as tho you are wearing a nappy. so DONT wear a pad. if you do get tampax theres instructions and they arent really that hard to use to tell the truth and they last much longer than a pad. if you go to the beach have fun ! xx
You can swim in a pad but realize that it will absorb water. Just take a fresh one with you to change into when you get out of the water. If you decide to try a tampon, get a small size and there will be directions in the box. Also, look for a plastic applicator instead of cardboard. They seem to go in easier.
read the tampon box and the directions on how to put it in. thats how i learned hahaha.
if your period does come, you either use a tampon or you dont swim. i beleive that they have directions on how to use them on the box. when you go and buy some, dont get the cardboard, and get the smallest size they have. if you still arent sure on how to use a tampon, go to about.com or ask your mom or an older sister.

If you want to hold off your period try eating something really cold like ice cream or Popsicles[that always works on me]
um.if that doesn't work then it should be okay if the water is cold since it'll hold down the period.

p.s cold stuff slows down blood movement and warm water does the opposite so I ASSUME it will work.
