So this is a really gross but serious question?

Question:
i have my period right now and i only had one sanitary napkin left and not enough money budgeted to go buy more. so i wore the same one for about 2 and a half days. now my vagina and labia lips are all red and swollen and itchy. could i have given myself a yeast infection, or is this just temporary until my period goe away and i stop wearing a pad?

Answers:
It's inflamed, and very irritated obviously. It isn't necessarily a YEAST infection, but it definitely sounds like some kind. Definitely stop wearing the pad (if you actually still are!). If you run into this problem next time, it would seriously be better for you to start even getting rags to absorb your flow. Do not use the same one because you're just marinating in your own filth (I know that's terribly worded, I'm not calling you disgusting I just couldn't think of a better way to put it... I'm sorry). Get it checked out soon and get some anti-inflamitory or even chafing cream in the meantime.

Also! You can't actually get TSS from a pad. That comes from having a tampon INSIDE your body.
sounds like you know the problem -poor sanitation. take better care of yourself. get an education, get a better job, and take care of your basic needs.
you know you can get tss for that? spending money for pads is wayy less then a medical bill. you could at least use toilet paper isntead of the same pad, or borrow from your friend. the swelling should go down after you stop using it, but if not see your doctor. and dont ever do that again.
Girl , that is f'n nasty. Ya you probably have a staph infection too. If you didn't have any pads you could have used toilet paper or something. You should probably treat yourself for a yeast infection and then put some stuff on that treats babies for diaper rash. I hope you learned your lesson. I think I'm about to throw up!
I really wish some people on here would stop acting so pious. It may not be a yeast infection, it could also be bacterial as blood would be more attrative to bacteria. If it dosnt subside within a fw days, or it gets worse then see a gynocologist. Gooc luck!
Sorry to hear that.(i know you dont wanna hear this...) but i think you should go see your doctor and explain to them whats happening. it could be a slight thing, or serious. the doctor is the only way to be sure. good luck!
that is nasty
u had to smell horiblle
