NO! Absolutely not.
Firstly, don't EVER take someone else's prescribed medication. Secondly, don't ever take someone else's EXPIRED prescribed medication.
Please don't take your mom's (or anyone else's) medication. If you are having anxiety or depression symptoms, talk to your parents. They can get you the medical help you need, which may or may not be an antidepressant. Taking anothers' medication can be very dangerous.
First off, you should never take somebody else's medicine. Second, Zoloft takes weeks to build up in your body and have a positive effect, so taking it once wouldn't help you.
Couple of key words here that should signal to you NO- first it's Mom's zoloft, not yours. Not prescribed for you, and would be breaking a couple laws to take it. And secondly. expired. Expired drugs are not safe, even if they happen to be yours. There's no promise they contain the amount of drug advertised, and may have become something hazardous to your heath. If you feel stressed, find a better outlet to destress than trying to find a cure in the medicine cabinet. Go work out, avoid the stressor, go chill in the pool, go out with some friends, go to an amusement park, go to a funny movie. And if you really think the situation needs drugs for you to handle it, go see the doctor for your own prescription.
nope, you must not take it, it is absolutely expired and it means you must not take it...
NO. Suprisingly, a lot of people don't pay attention to expiration dates.

Many times, when drugs are expired it doesn't necessarily mean that the way they work stops. It means it can work in OTHER, HARMFUL ways. Side effects can be heightened, and sometimes the degradation of chemicals in the pill itself can possibly do things to you that will make you worse off than where you started. The strength of the dosage is also something important. Body weight and size is not the only key factor in taking an unknown pill. If you're a diabetic and your mother is not, or if your mother has high cholesterol and you don't, it would be a terrible idea to take her pills. Pharmacists are a back up to doctor's prescriptions. They cross check a patient's pills to make sure they won't react to one another. Don't ever take someone else's medication, and you shouldn't take expired medicine either. There's a reason the pill has an expiration date on it, it's not there to make the pharmaceutical company to "look good".
no you should go see your doctor and tell him what the problem is and he will provide the proper medication for you if its necessary. But you shouldnt take anyones prescribed medication cause you could have a bad reaction to it. And if your really stressed take a peice of paper and write it out and then throw it away.Write everything down. Or cry. crying is a good stress reliever, or laugh. Or dance around and sing in your undies. Or better yet work out and relieve stress...sex can be an alternative.
where did u find it? the fridge? check out the colour, --------second thought, no , don't take expired medicine
You need to go talk to a doctor and they can help you find a medicine that will work with you and your body chemistry. Never ever take someone elses medication. Seriously, the wrong meds can make you suicidal, and turn you into a completely different person. It's very unsafe. Take a Tylenol PM and get some good sleep. A good cry always helps too, so maybe just try watching a sappy movie and having a good cry! Good luck!
Mom's zoloft may not be good for you. Would be just like using ilegal drugs. You never know what your reaction to this drug would be. Best go see the doctor and talk it over with her/him. Rather be safe than sorry.
