Hi Apple k, yes, circumcision is a personal choice - but, of course, it’s one that you’re making for another person.
In the US, the majority of boys are circumcised, though the numbers are declining somewhat. In other parts of the world, most non-Jewish boys are not circumcised. The difference seems to be almost entirely cultural. For some parents, circumcision is a religious ritual. For other parents circumcision is to help with personal hygiene or preventive health care. Still yet other parents feel the procedure seems unnecessary.

I wish I understood why this seems to be such an issue for debate. Circumcision is a personal choice made either by the parents at birth or by the child himself when he gets older. I can see the pro's and cons of both. If they take proper care in cleaning themselves then it's not a problem to keep the foreskin intact. However from a caregivers point of view I have seen many many problems arise when they are elderly and under nursing care. I personally am all for circumcision.
It's all a matter of choice really. In the biblical days it was necessary to help keep the penis clean but now that we've invented soap, it's not a big deal anymore. The only real differnce other than the appearance is this... A circumcised penis still have that outer layer of skin and when he gets erect, the skin gets really tight around his penis. It creates constant pressure and on average, an uncircumcised male may not last that long. A circumcised male lacks that skin so when he gets erect, there's no constant pressure so he's able to last a little longer in the sack. But every man has his own stamina and who says an uncircumcised man is a minute man anyway? It's all up to the man, unless his parents did it when he was born.
Most boys get circumcised mainly because their fathers want them to look like themselves...which is really stupid.
I was circumcised as a babty and my mom regrets putting me through such a painful procedure.
i've been with a guy that wasn't cut and i have to say it's less attractive, and it doesn't feel as good.
