My mum gave birth to my little brother two years ago and there were complications, why isnt she herself again?
Question:
Answers:
She may have post natal depression commonly known as baby blues, by which she may feel inadequate as she didnt have a natural/normal birth it can be stressful having a baby ripped from your stomach.
Babies can be hard tiring work so everyday tasks can seem like hard work and a daunting task. Try taking your brother out to the park for an hour and give mum a break so she can relax, read a book in peace or even a soak in a hot bath, maybe offer to look after him whilst mum and dad go out for a meal. It could be the fact she misses adult conversation and company and her everyday life has become a chore of babies, poop, cleaning etc etc.
Speak to your dad and hint that mum seems a little unhappy and may need some time to relax and even help out more around the house.
What if dad looks after your brother for an hour each week and you and your mum have sometime together e.g. join a club or gym.
If she has concerns herself then maybe a trip to the doctor would help.
Hope i havent rambled on too much and this helps.
it is very sad to know and your concern about your mama impressed me. i know u love her and that's why you r concerned about her condition. actually you know after these kind of surgeries such problems arises. My advise to you is to talk to a doctor who can check her there might be a complication. a doctor is the best and only person to avice accurately.
She is still not out of the shock. Help her to do so.
I also have a two year old ... and a 20yr old. After having my 2yr old my body has been in a tail spin. I also have developed numerous health problems and gained an enormous amount of weight. Having a baby later in life really takes a toll on your body. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. I was put on an antidepressant and it has really helped.
