Question:
ok if u dont answer my question i understand as its abit personal but... me and my close friend the other day were talking about shaving down stairs and she said when you shave you shave up the way and i said well i dont i shave down ways as when i shave up its all sore and itchy. she started to laugh and say that im the only person she ever knew to shave down ways and now i feel like an idiot. question is how many people in yahoo shave down ways? and which way do men prefer up or down ? thanks xx

Answers:
My gf shaves like you and she says she got problems when she shaved other way. It is alright, I like it.
you are right! The way you do it, you avoid the pain of ingrown hairs.
i definitely shave down, like you say it is unbearable when the hair is growing it ithches so bad.
you are right. On t.v. it said thats the best way. I shave up though cause I feel I get a closer shave.
I shave downwards, as sometimes upwards leads to chaffing and soreness.. And I walk around like a fool. =P

Hope I helped!
Just wax it honey.

When you shave you can get itchy, plus it grows back all spikey & you have to shave regularly. Waxing lasts longer, the hair grows back softer & more sparse (less of it) & you can get stuff called EMLA cream that you put on before hand & it numbs the area for less pain.
It is closer if done against the growth but more painful and itchy afterwards.
NEVER shave.
Better to use a hair removal cream...
That way you never itch
You are right. By shaving down, you prevent ingrown hairs.
