Don't worry! It's totally normal! Some girls start earlier and some start later. It usually happens between the ages of 9 and 16, so you have nothing to worry about. You're just fine!
Good luck!
Someone who knows just how you feel =D
I didn't get mind till I was 16 and in 9th grade. I am ok, well as far as that goes...LOL!
No. It's completely normal, and certainly not a health hazard. You need not start to worry until you're about 16. Everyone starts at a different time.
Nah, its okay - I have 2 friends who didn't start till they were 16 and one who was 18!

Don't fret - believe me it's not all the fun and games its made out to be!
it's ok, that's normal. but if you are 16 and haven't gotten your period, u should tell a doctor,
so totally normal
everyone develops at their own pace
you probably have very little body fat, the start of your menstruation is closely linked with subcutaneous body fat
just nature's little insurance policy, leftover from times when famine was prevalent
that way, women wouldn't get pregnant when there's famine
Yes, it is normal for some to not start their periods til they are 15 or 16.

If it still doesn't come by the age of 16 then she needs to see a doctor to find out what is causing her to not have her period.
your bodies just not grown yet some people take longer then othiers
am 14 too and i was wondering the same thing.i got sooo worried why i havent had my period yet but.....3 nites ago when i least expected it,there it was it happened.just 4get it dnt worry about it everybody has a different age to start my 12 year old sister started before me(imagine!)just enjoy urself for now that u dnt have it cuzzz when u get it,its horrible u gotta deal with cramps and all the pains that comes along with it.just enjoy urself for now soon or later its gonna b here!
good luck:)
you are so normal. I wouldn't even worry about it...in fact enjoy while it last. I had a friend that didn't get her tell she was almost 17.
I'm not sure why you think this would be "gross."

As to your question - you're still definitely in the range of "normal." If it doesn't start by the time you're about 17, then talking with your doctor is probably a good idea. You may simply need hormone treatments to "jump-start" things.
Not uncommon.
Every person starts at different ages of their life. I wouldn't let that bother you, some don't begin until they are 16. If you were 18 then maybe you could start to worry.
I don't think it's abnormal to start later in life. There are a LOT of reasons you might not start such as if you'e athletic then your body will typically take longer to start because you'll have a lower body fat percentage or if you're overweight this will cause a delay. It could be just that your body isn't ready - it will in time.

If by the time you're 16 - 17 and haven't started I would suggest going to the doctor just to check - but I honeslty think things will be fine.

Good luck!
