I'm don't think Women's Health is the best place to ask this. But my tip is-- take some guitar lessons.
Well first of all, Contratulations! I know you are dying to play it... You should take lessons, and then after that maybe join a band.
Secondly, This should not be under Woman's Health!!
Learn from someone who knows.
