And eat cottage cheese and even yogurt...this will help...also soaking in the bath tub and even drinking ice/or hot tea, and wearing too tight pants will contribute to yeast infections...make sure your panties are cotton (I only wear cotton panties) and you should leave room near your vagina to breathe (tight pants are really a big issue)...
But get to your gynecologist and get your twat checked out, yeast infections are common, but you have to use common sense when it comes to your personal jewel (down there)...take care-

It sounds like you might have one. It will be very itchy,red, and have a thick discharge that smells strong. And you will also get swollen down there if you start scratching. You should go to the store and get some Monistat cream 3-day. The new pills they have never worked well for me, b/c the cream always helped with the itching instantly!

It probably is a yeast infection, but please see a doctor. Until you have been diagnosed and know the symptoms, you should not self-medicate with OTC products.
Yeast infections often come on after taking antibiotics.
