I got told i might have an ovarain cyst?

Question:

im waitin 2 c the gyneacologist on the 9th august, i had my appendix out last month around the 20th and my periods are due around the 25th i didn't on and i still haven't. I had blood on my pelvis during the appendix op. Can ovarian cyst stop periods?

I don't think that's generally a symptom of an ovarian cyst, but there are differences in causes and symptoms. However, if your period is only a few days late, it could just be a minor irregularity especially if you had an operation, perhaps stress? Are you sure you have an ovarian cyst? Personally I would say you've already booked the appointment, there's nothing you can do but wait, because it hasn't been long. Good luck :-)

They didn't stop my MS, but your situation is complicated, and I don't think you should be asking us this question. Talk to your doctor.

i reallt dont know but i would like to as i have the same kind of problem i have to have a scan, and see a gynacologist if nothing is found then i have to be tesed for endometreosis. but yes it probabl could stop a period but then so could many other things such as stress
