Tampons shouldn't hurt when used correctly.
I would wad up some toilet paper, until you can get some instructions from your mom, sister or friend to guide you.
*WARNING never use lotion to insert anything into your vagina.
No tampoons do not hurt.. use some lotion to insert it and you will be fine.
dont worry. there are instructions that come with the box. go for it!!!
Use paper towels.
only if they are the wrong size... use really small ones... if it hurts a little dont be alarmed you'll get used to it.
Not for me. As long as you put it in right and have it far enough up. The major thing is to RELAX. Best of Luck!
Yes i have heard that tampons do hurt because it breaks skin. dont wear them.. use alot of napkins!!
tampons dont hurt at all.. u may have trouble getting them in the first time, but dont worry, it'll go
If you don't use them right it can. If you really want to aviod using them try folding up some toilet paper until you can get some products.
just follow the instructions in the box...relax...and don't use lotion!
they take some time to get used to, but otherwise than thatm they're pretty easy.
i warn you, dont put one in, then take it out rite away, since its going to be dry and if you take it out it will still be dry, it will hurt
but i would just use tons of toilet paper
no they do'nt if they are inserted correctly. The best ones to use are the ones that carries applicator. Give it a try. Follow instructions.
tampons should not hurt if used right. try to relax - that is really the key! and once you learn how to use them, you will never want to wear a pad again :)
Well I'm not sure, but I wouldn't use them because if your that young it can be dangerous. it would be better to make your own for now out of cotton or something else u can think of & go buy some..This is a time when you wish you had an A+ in art class. o-O
If you are really desparate you can fold up some toilet paper and tuck it into your undies. You just have to check and change it fairly often so you don't bleed through.
That's what I do when I'm caught out. I don't like using tampons.
dont know...go for it and then let me know :)
if u must, thne use them.i prefer pads jsut cuz they always hurt for me even though i was inserting it correctly.
no... they're more comfy... anyways if you're afraid use tissue for now
no they don't hurt...read the insructions and just use it...if you're gonna go to bed and the flow is really heavy, put some toilet paper in your underwear...i woke up once on one of my first periods and as i walked to the bathroom blood flowed out everywhere...it was really scarey...that like hardly ever happens though, so don't worry...but go ahead and use the tampon...
do not use lotion! that can cause an infection. tampons do not hurt. and are really easy to insert, thats what they were made to do after all. just relax so that your muscles arnt too tight, i know that might be hard but it will slide in easier if you relax. and just read the directions. for your first time it will be easiest if your standing with one foot on the toilet. i used a tampon the first day i ever got my period so its really easy to do, plus it feels like you accomplish so much once its done!
no, tampons don't hurt. you might feel a slightly uncomfortable pressure if you put it in at a kinda awkward angle, but it only hurts for a second and it rarely happens.
heck no...in fact you will be glad that you ran out of pads... start off with lite tampons, but you forget you are even menstrating till its time to change it... and do it often, like every 2-4 hrs
you'll be fine tampons do not hurt as long as you insert them properly. DO NOT use lotion or any thing like that to insert it the lotion can give you a yeast infection. read the instruction pamphlet in the box
try standing up and putting one leg on the toilet and inserting it that way that sraightens your vagina and makes insertion easier for you. if you are still nervous about it you can fold some toilet papr or paper towels and put them in your panties until you get some pads just dont flush the paper towels down the toilet... it will clog the potty and i imagine you dont want to explain that to your parents.
good luck
when i first got my period i couldnt use cardboard tampons because they hurt. the only reason i could think other than that for them to hurt is because u dont have it in far enough. but i had a friend whos mom didnt tell her about them and she left the applicator in so yeah, make sure you dont leave that in either
Never use anything but Ky to put on a tampon to help it go in better. Lotion will probably burn like a b.itch and vaseline is hard for you body to flush out. Always use water based lubricants in the vagina.
nope. they dont hurt at all. they might feel a little uncomfortable at first. Just read the directions and youll be alright. For me, it hurt taking them out the first time but you will learn to love them. Theyre alot less messy.
Follow the directions on the box and use the tampon. The tampon expands when it is inside of you so that it will absorb the flow. How long did you leave it in? You should be fine to leave the tampon in for 4-6 hours or whenever you start to bleed through it you need to change it. Good luck!
