everyone is right so far. weight has alot to do with it and also the kind of meat you eat as well. since alot of meat has hormones in it. But good news is the later you start your period the sooner you will go into menopause so look at this as a blessing! I started my menses when I was 9 so I will go through menopause later then most women. Just make sure to keep plenty of pads with you wherever you go and dont be afraid to let the teacher know if you start in class. You will definately know when it happens. Also be sure to keep an extra change of panties and pants if possible in case you start and you start flowing hard.
