Boy are you bringing back memories from my past, when I was your age I to was scared, and at least you have a choice to talk to someone, heck you even have us from YouQA.com and that is one great support system! When I was your age I had no one to talk to, only cause my mother was very old fashion and it was back in the 80,s and Im guessing she came from a family where periods were not to be disgused, so I just went about it all alone, I even went and bought my own pads at a local store and I was so embarassed and felt shame. Things have changed and thank goodness for that, I know it sounds so easy to say to go to your mom and talk about this situation, easier said then done, but thats what Im gonna tell ya to do, and believe me your mother is not gonna be shocked or mad at you in any way, as a matter of fact I,ll bet she,s waiting for this day to come when you aproach her with all your questions and concerns regarding having your period, once you,ve talked to your mom and revealed to her your worries and concerns, you will feel much better having gotton that off your back, so take a deep breath and relax, trust me your gonna be just fine, and in a few years you,ll look back and think why was I so scared to talk about this to my mom.
what you should do is talk to your mom privately, you dont have to look at her, just say whats on your mind to her. its going to be awkward and all, but at least you'll get the answers you want/need
well, actually it reallt is nothing. You get it once a month. And I never wanted to talk to my mom about it but then I thought what if something goes wrong. Its best to talk to your mom, just in case. She will understand. All girls get there periods. Dont be scared. Its part of life.
Don't be too worried. :) It's really not a big deal. You'll know when it happens, and it's not scary. It might hurt a little if you have cramps, but that pain usually is very minor - you might not even experience any pain at all! I usually don't have cramps. Don't be embarassed to talk to your mom. She's been there and done that before. She will probably be very supportive of any questions you have! You could also talk to the school nurse if you need to. You will be ready! All of us girls have to go through it at some point, and we've all made it through it fine! :) Good luck!
listen its a good thing to get it means your becoming a women and with the good comes the bad the cramps and tiredness but you will develop into a beutifull teen, just think of it this way your mom and some of your friends have there period or will get so they wont feel uncomfortable talking to you about it you may find they want to talk to you about, talk to your mom she should be your best friend.
it kinda is a big deal, the beginning of womanhood and all. talk to your mom or school nurse
