Frequent urinating?

Question:
I can usually go a whole day only needing the toilet 2-3 times but recently been needing to go a lot more. It's unlikely I could be pregnant because my partner and I use condoms and always check them after to make sure there has not been an accident . Are small holes always noticeable or not? I'm not due on for another week yet. Any ideas what else it could be?

Answers:
condoms are ONLY 80 - 95% good. they tell you on the box. it would take a microscope to see a hole that would be large enough for thousands of sperm to get thru. Better get an over the counter test.
Besides the urinary frequency, this also means your entire day and activities require the immediate availability of a restroom. I can't imagine how frustrating this can be. Please make sure you have been checked for the presence of diabetes, the first sign of which can be frequent urination accompanied by excessive thirst.

Beyond this, my suspicion is that you have interstitial cystitis. This involves chronic inflammation of the bladder in addition to a decreased capacity that leads to urinary frequency and pelvic pain. This diagnosis requires the services of a urologist , who will need to visualize your bladder through a cytoscope.

Other possibilities include a cystocele (also called fallen bladder), a condition due to weakened vaginal walls as a result of childbirth. I am also assuming that your doctor has done a pelvic examination and utlrasound if there was a suspicion of any abnormalities.

Sometimes we physicians need to hear more directly whether the treatments we provide really work or not. I would suggest that the next time you see your doctor, let him or her know that the current approach is just not working.
You could be drinking alot of fluids and not noticing it. Water and water based food like fruit can make you got to the bathroom alot.
Go to your primary care doctor and get a urinalysis done. It will check for a UTI or any other infections you could have. You could also get a blood test to confirm pregnancy or not. Hope this helps.
You might have a urine infection and in which case a course of anti-biotics will help.
I didn't understand 'small holes' but any way if organic diseases are excluded eg: Diabetes , urinary tract infections , diabetes insipidous ect. then you think of 'Over active bladder', this condition results from detrusor instability or overactivity, it is usually has an emotional or psychic background
Urinary frequency can be a sign of urine infection. It can also be a sign of an STD (sexually transmitted disease) which could be something like Thrush or Candidia or more serious. You can also get burning sensations and your urine may smell different, kind of fishy or cheesy. You can also get itching downstairs but you may also just get frequency as a symptom, I should go to the Dr because if it is an infection you need treatment, if you think it may be an STD you can go to the local Sexual Health Clinic, you do not need to be referred. You can be treated under a pseudonym at such clinics and your GP is not informed. Leaving it to heal itself could damage your kidneys. Drink lots of Cranberry juice too, a natural remedy for a UTI or Urinary Tract Infection.
You could also have an infection or cystitis which can cause your symptoms.
Perhaps you drink a lot? (Water)lol Go to the library you will find a book in the medical section listing all kinds of symptoms find the symptoms that match yours and it will tell you what you have, but remember it's only a book.ok
You could just be drinking more water. Is there a burning sensation? If so you've got cystitis. You are supposed to go to the toilet 7 times a day on average anyway.
