I just found a knot on my sternum between my breasts, but closer to the right one. It wasn't sore until I found it, and then I began to push on it at times, and now it is sore. Should I be concerned, and what could be the problem?

There are many possibilities, it could well be no more than an innocent keloid - this in black race mainly- . A doctor can take a biopsy if in doubt.
