Answers:
it is very irregular when you first start which it sounds like you did. it takes anywhere from 1-2 years for it to become regular. nothing to worry about
my first period was very short also! your moms right!
When you are at school raise your hand and ask your teacher about it.
yeaaah i am just going to guess its your period
because they are usally a little weird the first time.
i dunno mine was just bloody spots when i went to the washroom... and then a few hours later just blood... i think your period might be irregular... it depends on your diet pretty much
You're probably starting to get your periods, it seems.
I can't think of any other reason why a girl would have a brown discharge.
Well it sounds to me like you started your period. It's pretty normal for it to be kinda brown on your first period, or at the end of your period. Sounds gross but it's just old blood.
It's not uncommon to have pretty irregular periods with just some spotting at first. It's probable that it was your first. Congratulations. Look into the Diva Cup, they're fantastic. (Ooky at first, but awesome once you get used to it.)
Sounds completely normal to me honey...your first periods are pretty much always irregular. I am 23 and still not regular. Don't worry! If you have any questions just ask your mom-she's been there! :-)
How old are you? It sounds like you have started your first period. When my daughter was 9 yrs old, she did what you have done and then nothing else happened for 1 1/2 yrs and then she started having a period each month.
I'd say you probably have started. The first several won't have a very heavy flow.
If you have cramping or abdominal pain with it, then it's definite; however, you could be one of the lucky ones and not have the pain.
The bloody discharge was like watered down blood, right? This is normal for just starting and the brown discharge is also normal for just starting.
If you are concerned, however, for peace of mind, you may want to consult a gynecologist.
When I started I had a brown discharge, then later on (6 months) I had it again, only this time, I had the severe cramping and a heavy flow (I have endometriosis and PCOS, so mine was far different).
Depending on your age, it may be irregular and weight plays a role in it too. If you are underweight or significantly overweight you may have irregular cycles too.
Probably.
I started mine the summer before the 8th grade.
My weight was 135 lbs. You have to have a certain ratio of body fat before you become a woman.
The nigh before I realized I had started, I had a horrible night sleep. You should have abdominal pain and breast tenderness. The blood is a big clue. They won't be regular until you are older. My second period was 45 days later...not 28 like a grown woman. I'm 42 now and heading into menopause...and they are 25 days apart.
brown discharge is normal at the beg. or end of your period..when i had m first period it was just a discharge for 2 days and then finally a little blood..im pretty sure you started next month everything should be getting into a rythym and after 2-3 months youll be able to make sure youre regular..but since youve never had a period before this you arent irregular..=]
Yeah, I think it's your period. My first period only last like a day or two. Don't worry about it though, it's not gonna be regular for the first 2 or 3 years.
that happened to by bff. lol. but nothing is wrong with you. it will come back in a month
