I've been bleeding when I pee. Help?

Question:
Lately, whenever I pee, I have been bleeding along with the pee, but it is very slight, it only shows up when I wipe. Also, I have been experiencing sharp pains from my vagina up to my uterus whenever I have to urinate. It hurts! And I don't know what's going on. Does anybody know what could be happening?

Answers:
That does not sound very good at all! You could have a track infection or anything! If you are sexually active it could even be an STD. There are many signs that indicate something is wrong. Dont be too alarmed, but go to a doctor right away! Dont be embarrassed to discuss these problems with a doctor as they deal with worse things everyday. But definitely go see someone, dont self diagnose, you need to find out whats causing it and get help, Good Luck!!
i am not sure what is going on with you but i recommend seeing a doctor immediately especially if you are having pain
urinary tract infection- go see a dr-
well if you're between the ages of 9-16 it could be your period. but if you already have your period and you know it's not it can be serious. go to a doctor either way.
ask your OBGYN already!!!!!!!!!... why are you asking YouQA.com ???
could be a kidney infection or maybe even a cyst. like a month ago my sister had your same symptoms and at first they told her she had a kidney infection (you tend to bleed when peeing) but then they found out she really had a cyst on her ovary, she actually had to have surgery to get her ovary removed. If it keeps going on and the pain is severe, go to the doctor...you can never me too safe.
It sounds just like a urinary tract infection. Go to the dr. & get some antibiotics. They are quite common, but are a pain in the ****.
Hope you feel better soon~
Go see a doctor as soon as possible. Use urgent care if you can't get in to see your regular doctor. That way, you'll know very quickly if it's really serious or something minor.

Hope it gets better and is nothing serious.
The blood could actually be your period, showing up lightly. The pains don't sound very good. You should see your doctor to make sure there is no urinary or vaginal infection going on. Best to be safe.
Possibly a blader infection. If I were you I would go to the emergency room. Bleeding from that aera is never a good sign. Dont let this go on for much longer. If you dont go to the hospital call your Dr. on the phone and ask what they think.
You have a UTI (urinary track infection) i know i just got off of antibiotics for the same thing. get some pills and you will be as good as new. And drink a lot of water!!
Depending on your age, this could be a number of things and I would not take too many suggestions from yahoo. You should seek a doctor and not try to guess the problem. If you are experiencing pain with this bleeding, your body is telling you that something is wrong. It could be UTI, which can be cured with antibiotics, but as with any infection in your body, the sooner you get it taken care of the better. I hope this helped you and Good Luck!
You probably have a bladder or kidney infection or both. Either way it's not going to get any better-go to your doctor or the emergency room ASAP.
you need to flush out you kidney's and bladder. drink lot's of water everyday. drink water while you are not eating, never drink soda or coffee. especially not milk. these drinks build up in your badder and make it hard for fluid to flow through. Just drink plain water for an entire day to get started on cleaning out you bladder. then drink 5-6 glasses of water everyday to keep them clean.
it definitely sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. 3 common causes are: not peeing after having sex (to rid of bacteria that can enter the urethra, wiping from back to front and not drinking enough water (the lesser of the 3).

you need to see your dr. and they will do a urine sample and give you some meds to take for a few days to a wk. drink plenty of water and 100% cranberry juice. there is also an OTC cranberry tablet that helps to flush out the bacteria (and your urine will be bright orange to red in color)... but you MUST see your dr.

hope you feel better soon.
Depending how old your are, you need tell your parents or call your doc. for an apt. Your body is trying to tell you something is wrong, you have blood in your urine & are experiencing sharp pain.
