Blood tests?
Question:
Answers:
NO
Your blood tests are to check that your lithium level is in the normal range(they may also check your liver and kidney function and full blood count) and not at risk of causing toxicity
You would not have immunology screening.
If you feel that you have been exposed to risk of any STD they can do the relevant tests for you
the results would show up as HIV positive
Positive
I really wouldn't know, but they have to do a specific test for HIV. It costs money to do each test, so I'm sure they only test for what they have to. I imagine they would need your consent to test for more as well. Maybe you should ask them.
the doctor checks your liver enzymes only. ask him/her to do AIDS testing too.
Not unless they are looking to see if you have HIV. If the test is for your lithium levels, then that is all they are testing. You have to ask specifically for an HIV screening if that is what you want run otherwise they wont do it.
ASK for an HIV test.they do those seperately and would take a whole different vile of blood to test.
